Project details

Project L.3.3.T.

Creative corporate site for game studio. DPS Games is a proud member of the Wargaming family and home to a great deal of passion and love for video games.

Founded in Guildford, UK, DPS Games is a globally distributed development studio, dedicated to building new games which are action packed, and universally loved.

Overview

The project began with a simple objective: create a digital experience that could better reflect the company’s evolution while supporting future growth. Beyond visual refinement, the challenge was to establish a scalable design foundation capable of accommodating new products, content, and business needs without sacrificing consistency or usability.

Rather than approaching the task as a website redesign, the project evolved into the creation of a flexible digital platform combining branding, product thinking, and editorial communication.

My Role

I led the creative direction of the project from concept development through final production, shaping the overall visual language and ensuring consistency across every stage of execution.

My responsibilities included creative strategy, art direction, visual concept development, production supervision, stakeholder communication, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Challenge

The objective was to create a digital experience that reflected the company’s evolution while establishing a flexible visual system capable of supporting future growth. Beyond redesigning the interface, the project required balancing brand consistency, usability, and scalability within a demanding production schedule.

Every design decision needed to satisfy both business objectives and long-term operational requirements without compromising the overall user experience.

Creative Concept

Rather than approaching the project as a collection of individual screens, the goal was to create a coherent design language that could scale across products, content, and future communication.

The visual direction combined editorial layouts, strong typography, structured composition, and a restrained interface system to establish a timeless aesthetic while maintaining clarity and usability. Every element was designed to support both storytelling and functionality.

Execution

The project was delivered through close collaboration between design, development, content, and marketing teams. A modular design system was established to ensure consistency across every page while allowing enough flexibility for different types of content and future expansion.

From early concepts to final implementation, every stage focused on creating reusable components, improving production efficiency, and simplifying long-term maintenance without sacrificing visual quality.
